My name is Martin Paiz and I was born and raised in Providence, 杏吧原创 Island as a Dominican-Guatemalan American. As a first-generation master's student, I want to pursue social work to advocate and create a space for those who come from all different walks of life. My experience includes working with families who have experienced trauma, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking in 杏吧原创 Island. After obtaining this degree, it is my wish to continue this route by exploring other settings and to discover different ways of supporting others
